As computer music composers, GRAYCODE (Taebok Cho) and jiiiiin (Jinhee Jung) have been collaborating in the field of sound and new media. These two artists manage various media in the form of sound, video, installation, and sculpture through their individual work, and also have been succeeding in audio-visual art as a collaboration, ‘GRAYCODE, jiiiiin’.
There is a significant direction in their collaboration that understands our world and the entire cosmos with sound, which is their medium. In their work, sound is considered as a medium for artistic expression which contains the concept of time and space concurrently that lead us to recognize the present moment in time and to understand the cosmic world.
